Matthew R. Osborne earned a master’s in applied behavior analysis from Florida Institute of Technology, and a BS in psychology from Florida State University. He was introduced to behavior analysis in 2000 as an undergrad working at both an in-patient mental health hospital and school for adolescents diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He has continued to work with similar populations as a supervisor and clinician in residential, school, community and in-patient hospital settings. He actively disseminates to parents, new client populations, and public organizations. As director of adult and residential services at The Faison Center, Matthew builds capacity for quality services while improving staff performance, including implementing new strategies to promote multidisciplinary treatment team communication. Matthew offers students the dual perspective of clinician and clinical leader and both roles evolve in the real world.
