Sharin Smolenyak, MA, BCBA


Sharin Smolenyak graduated with an MA in psychology from the University of Florida (UF) in 1974 where she originally gained experience in the children's mental health autistic in-patient unit at UF’s Shands Hospital. Sharin has a 33-year history of working with juvenile- through geriatric-aged individuals at a developmental services institution, and as an on-call behavior analyst for an institution of 550 residents. A seasoned interventionist, she has provided behavioral services to group homes, foster homes, schools, ARCs, and aging and adult services placements in Florida District 3. She also worked as a clinical behavioral specialist F/C for a male forensic facility with the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities. Sharin has been a proud and enthused co-instructor since 2008.
