BEHP1039: Interpersonal Skills for the Behavioral Consultant
Discussing skills pertinent to behavior analysts consulting with caregivers and families. Specific skills discussed include: initial contact, interviewing skills during an assessment, active listening skills, giving and receiving feedback, setting expectations, and interpersonal do’s and don’ts.
BEHP1042: Mainstream Behavior Analysis
Emphasis on consulting with caregivers, by using easy-to-understand language on common behavioral problems including: bedtime resistance, toilet training, thumb sucking, toddler misbehavior, and adolescent instructional control issues.
