Verbal Behavior: From Skinner’s Analysis to Sundberg’s Assessment and Intervention via the VB-MAPP
Verbal behavior is an incredibly important topic in behavior analysis. Not only is it an interesting subject matter, it is also difficult to study. Language and verbal behavior are also a major focus in our practice. A common example is our use of assessments and in particular the VB-MAPP and its role in developing treatment plans. Language and social skills are some of the most common deficits for our clients. Because there is such a large demand for services treating language deficits, it is essential that you have a deep understanding of the assessment you use as well as the underlying philosophy.
