Author: Cassie Vergason McKeel

Online learning series to help build foundational knowledge of behavior science and its application to animals.

Animal behavior

The three-course sequence begins with an introduction to behavior science and how to apply its principles to working with animals.

Course 1 focuses on “how” animals learn and how we can make meaningful behavior change through positive means.

Course 2 teaches how to design and implement behavior change techniques in animal training programs.

Course 3 shows how to measure whether an intervention is working and document progress on a graph to give insight to ensure an intervention is effective and sustainable.
