Lina Majdalany, PhD, BCBA-D
Dr. Lina Majdalany earned both her MS and Ph.D. degrees from the Florida Institute of Technology. She graduated with a Master of Science in applied behavior analysis in 2012, received her BCBA that same year, and earned her Ph.D. in behavior analysis in 2014. Lina has been in the field since 2009 and started her experience working in homes with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Since then, she has expanded her clinical experience to clinics, schools, and business settings, with an emphasis on early intervention, verbal behavior, assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, parent/caregiver training, and organizational behavior management. Lina has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research at state and national conferences. From 2014-2016, she was a full-time assistant professor of behavior analysis for Florida Tech where she taught courses on single-subject research, EAB, and conceptual analysis, while supervising intensive practicum students working toward BCaBA and BCBA certification and overseeing capstones. Between 2016 and 2019, she had various roles, including supervising fieldwork hours, clinical director, private consultant, and part-time co-instructor. Lina served as a full-time co-instructor for Florida Tech’s ABA Online program from 2019 to 2023. She now works full-time for ABA Technologies Inc. in the role of content development lead. Lina is most passionate about disseminating evidence-based procedures to practitioners and caregivers; believing that dissemination and caregiver training is a critical ingredient to any quality ABA program.
