Ellee Chin is a current graduate student at Florida Institute of Technology in the master’s program for applied behavior analysis and is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Ellee transferred her studies from Malaysia to the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2015 and in 2017 completed her degree in psychology with a minor in Japanese. Thereafter, she worked for nine months as an RBT with Lovaas Institute of Early Intervention in their Midwest branch in Minnesota. Subsequently, she went home to Malaysia and served as an RBT for another nine months under SEED Autism. Ellee is very motivated about pursuing this area of science as she would like to break the stigma in Malaysia regarding children with disabilities by educating and spreading awareness to the general population. Ellee believes that being a behavioral treatment technician is not just about having sufficient knowledge but also providing a comfortable community for everyone in relation to individuals with disabilities.
