New Two-Part CEU on Teaching Play Skills For Behavior Analysts
Melbourne, FL: February 27, 2019—ABA Technologies, Inc., in partnership with Florida Institute of Technology, announces the launch of a new, two-part continuing education course for behavior analysts on teaching children pretend and imaginative play skills. The courses prepare participants to assess and develop the imaginative play repertoires of young children. Presenters Nancy Champlin, MS, BCBA, and Melissa Schissler, MS, BCBA, of ACI Learning Centers introduce their research-based program and product line: Pretend Play and Language Assessment and Curriculum (PPLAC) and PlayTubsTM. Both courses offer Type 2 BACB credit.

Melbourne, FL: ABA Technologies, Inc., in partnership with Florida Institute of Technology, is pleased to announce the launch of a new, entirely Spanish online RBT® (Registered Behavior Technician®) training: Esenciales RBT®: Entrenamiento del Técnico de Conducta Registrado® (BEHP1209). This course includes all 40 hours of training required by the BACB® in order to pursue the RBT® credential. In this training, students have the opportunity to practice skills specified on the RBT® Task List as well as elements of the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.

New 8-hour Supervision Course for Behavior Analysts
The 21st Century Supervision Course Series is based on the BACB’s Supervisor Training Curriculum Outline 2.0, released in December 2018. Per the BACB, this new curriculum is “revised, enhanced, and reorganized to emphasize content relevant to the ongoing supervision of RBTs and BCaBAs, and the supervision of trainees.” All incoming supervisors are required to complete an updated training course beginning November 2019.
